Spotlight Starlight!

It's Friday already, really late on Friday too!
This week has really run off on me, I got busy tidying up my work room and have finally shaken off the inertia that seemed to have gripped me during January. I have a new found sense of purpose and I hope I will be able to keep up the momentum because it feels good! This is my 100th post, and it took me only three years! I take this opportunity, this round number, to celebrate new beginnings, my only resolution for this year is to make 2009 productive.

How fitting is this post from Galadarling, the Icing Transformation Challenge starts on Sunday, if you have a resolution you would like to keep this year, and feel the need for some encouragement, I suggest you sign up.

The Dublin Flea Market is back I haven't managed a visit yet but I will try and make it this Sunday, I'm really excited about this as I think Dublin desperately needs a flea market. If I do make it there expect a review post next week!

Montana Forbes

First of all just let me say that I think the name of this
illustrator rocks ... Montana Forbes, doesn't it sound just great?
And great she is ... just look at the illustrations!
You might be familiar with her work, for the past two years she
has been a resident illustrator for the Sunday Times Style Magazine supplement.
Unfortunately, I will have to add her link to the growing list
of illustrators whose websites tease me with "Coming Soon" signs ...
while we patiently wait for her official site to be up and running
we can look at her portfolio here.

Life Is A Cabaret!

This is where I spent New Years Eve, it was fantastic!
Trapeze Artists, Aerial Act, Music, Swing Dancing and
lots more!
Yes, I do realize that it is the 16th of January, I just wanted
get the word out that thankfully
Le Cabaret Cirque, in collaborations with Fosset's Circus,
will have many more nights like this in Dublin and
around Ireland, I'll be sure to post details well in advance for the next
night, so we can all dress up and put on our dancing shoes!

La Bambola

I don't feel very fashionable at the moment, my days consisting mostly of walking Ruby in Phoenix Park and lazing about ... I will get it together eventually and tackle the long list of project that I have in store for this new year ... does anybody else finds it difficult to get going after the holidays or is it just me?
