Look At Me, Looking At You!

Retro Street Style:

How dapper are they? Love the little suit, and the attitude as well!!!

This little ballerina is just too cute ...

Love the white and baby-blue coat, reminds me of ice-cream ... and that's not a bad thing!

I really like that shade of pink, I probably wouldn't wear the jacket and skirt together, a bit too matchy matchy, but as separates they would rock my world!

Grrrh ... I WANT that animal print travel bag ... I WANT IT... So much so I'm planning to build a time machine!!!
Big Hair! Big Hair! Now we know who bears responsibility for the depletion of the ozone layer!

How stylish are these two? Love the sleeves on the black dress!
I really like the grey pleated skirt.

... hot summer day at the beach ...

All pictures from Look At Me. The project was started by Eric Bonn and Zoe Delay in Paris in 1998, 8 years on, this site collecting found photos contains 616 pictures, and you can contribute too!

Stella Im Hultberg

[Its me not you]

I first discovered Stella Im Hultberg
illustration on the Cut+Paste
website, a true treasure chest of handmade goodies!

[remember me]

Her style of illustration reminds me of Egon Schiele,
her work is messy-beautiful with ink splattered on the page and tea stains ... I adore it and will definetly treat myself to a digital print as a Christmas present this year... I already have a place selected on my wall!

[Egon Schiele - Sitzender weiblicher Akt]

This is a snippet from the about section on her website:
"When she's not drawing or painting, she likes to eat while thinking of more food to eat; search for the perfect cupcake; eat ice cream at the park; and just walk around her most favorite city in the world.", beautiful art, cupcakes, ice cream and New York ... fantastic isn'it?
So make sure you have a look at the rest of her work, you can have a goo at her sketchbook, buy yourself [ or a friend, be generous, spread it around!], some wonderful print and original artwork at a very affordable price!

[can't dissappear]

I want this one!!!

[no difference]

... or this one!

[insomnia]

mmmh, maybe this one?

Work In Progress

I've been a busy bee in the last few weeks, sorting out my work-space, making lists, lists, lists, lists that seem endless but little by little things are getting done! Very exciting times indeed, big project on the way ... very mysterious I know but all will be revealed in due time!
I've been experimenting with earrings, here are some of the results

I'm still tweaking this design so any suggestions, ideas and comments will be greatly appreciated!

The Blue ones,in the next picture, are made with brand new beads, I know I should try and use only recycled ones but when I saw these I couldn't resists, they are so colourful!

I love this multicoloured necklace:

I'm waiting for a package from Italy crammed full of goodies! Sterling Silver findings, some old clothes of mine [everything comes back around doesn't it?], and hopefully some lovely foodie goodies ... mmmh ... can't wait!
